Anaswara Rajan made her debut in the Malayalam film industry with Udaharanam Sujatha in 2017 starring Manju Warrier in which she played the role of Athira Krishnan.

She was selected out of 60,000 girls who auditioned for the role. She later acted in many films including Evidey (2019) as Shahana, Thanneer Mathan Dinangal (2019) as Keerthy, the double roles in Adhyarathri (2019) as Aswathy and Shalini, the role of a girl who wants to undergo gender reassignment surgery in Mike (2022) as Mike aka Sara Thomas, and in Padmini (2023) as Monisha.

She debuted in the Tamil film industry in 2022 with Raangi as Sushmitha which also featured Trisha Krishnan in the lead role. She later played the role of Kayal of Thugs in 2023.
