Alesia Raut is an Indian fashion choreographer, model, and actress, who was a contestant of the reality show khatron ke Khiladi.

Alesia Raut was born on Monday, 21 December 1981 (age 42 years; as of 2023) in Moscow. She is the daughter of an Indian father and a Russian mother. Alesia did schooling at Bombay Cambridge Gurukul, Andheri, Mumbai and pursued graduation in commerce from Mithibai College in Juhu, Mumbai. In 1999, when Alesia was 19 years old, her parents forwarded some of her pictures to the contest named, Look of the year contest, which was organized by the Times Group in India, where she went till the finals. ^[1]Instagram- Alesia Raut Alesia in 2001, participated in the Indian fashion week and that is when she started to be a part of the regular fashion shows. ^[2]Times of India She continued modelling, got featured in many ramp shows and albums. Alesia Raut’s father’s name is Vijay Raut, who is an Indian, and her mother’s name is Natasha Raut, who is a Russian.

She has one elder brother, Amrit Raut, and a younger sister, Anjali Raut. Anjali is a model in Mumbai.

Husband & Children

Alesia Raut got married twice. Firstly, she got married to a Russian economist, Alexander Yanovski, who was the son of Alesia’s mother’s best friend. Alesia moved to Moscow after her first marriage, however, the marriage didn’t last long and they both got separated. Alesia moved back to India with her son in 2007. ^[3]E Times After coming back to India, she met Siddhaanth Suryavanshi in February 2016.

They got engaged on 12 April 2017

Alesia and Siddhaanth got married in November 2017, in Mumbai.

Alesia has a son, Mark, from her first marriage and a daughter, Diza, who is from Siddhaanth’s first marriage. Diza lives with her mother and often visits Alesia and Siddhaanth.

Career

As a model

Alesia started her career in modelling in 1999 when her parents forwarded her photographs to a contest named, Look of the year, organized by the Times Group in India, where she went till the finals.

In 2001, she participated in Indian fashion week, after which she continued modelling. Alesia did her first music video in 2003. She worked in many music videos like Meri Beri Ke Ber, Ek Aankh Maru. Alesia worked in many tv commercials. She walked a ramp in many fashion shows like Lakme fashion week, ^[4]Instagram Wills Lifestyle India fashion week shows, Singapore fashion week, International institute of fashion design shows, and also for top designers like Manish Malhotra. ^[5]Instagram

Apart from this, Alesia also worked as a VJ and was also an anchor for a travel show in Star One.

As a trainer

After returning back to India in 2007, Alesia along with her sister, Anjali Raut, started a modelling training academy named, Cocoaberry talent academy, in Mumbai, where Alesia and her sister trained the aspiring models for the glamorous world of fashion. ^[6]Instagram

Alesia is the ramp walk trainer for Miss India and Miss Universe pageants.

As a judge

As an actress

Alesia worked in Madhur Bhandarkar’s movie Fashion in 2008, in which she played the role of the model.
