Aditi Saigal aka Dot is an Indian actor and musician who will make her acting debut in Zoya Akhtar’s film Archies. She is a musician who became an overnight success in February 2017 when she uploaded her singing video on YouTube and got 35000 plays within a very short span of time.
Aditi was born in 1999 (age 22 years; as of 2022) in India. She loved singing and writing songs from an early age. Her schooling was done in India and later she went to Bangor University, Wales for pursuing a degree in music and creative writing. The Hindu

Aditi is the daughter of Amit Saigal and Shena Gamat. Her father was a rock musician who founded Rock Street Journal which became India’s first rock magazine. Her father went on a vacation to Goa and died after drowning in the sea on 5 January 2012. The Hindustan Times
Aditi commenced her YouTube channel on 29 August 2010. However, her singing journey commenced when she joined some musicians from One World College of Music and they began singing as a band. She talked about that experience and said,
It was interesting, it was with some of my friends: a singer and flautist and a bassist, guitarist. We all contributed with a bunch of songs, so it wasn’t just my songs. I think it was a bit more pop-oriented, but I can’t really put a finger on that. I don’t really get the genre thing, anyway.’
she uploaded her first singing video on 22 February 2017 which got her overwhelming traction on YouTube; after which she built a decent follower base. After this, she received plenty of cover requests but she turned them down saying,
She released her own album Khamotion on 16 July 2021 which featured songs that she originally wrote for her final year project at Bangor University.
In 2022, she is signed up for her first film project in Zoya Akhtar’s film Archies which will release on Netflix in 2023. This film will be starring Sharukh Khan’s daughter Suhana, Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya along with actor Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, Aditi Saigal, and Yuvraj Menda.
