Vishal was inclined towards acting from a young age and started performing in plays while he was in school. He obtained a B.Com degree from Varanasi and moved to Mumbai in 2015 to pursue a career in acting. Subsequently, he did a course in acting at Anupam Kher’s Actor Prepares. Meanwhile, he began taking part in nukkad nataks and theatre plays.

Vishal made his television debut in 2015 with Channel V’s comedic game show V Distraction.

He became popular with his stint in Star Plus’ serial Yeh Hai Mohabbatein (2018) in which he played the role of Vishal, the best friend of Yug, Ishita’s (played by Divyanka Tripathi) son. He quit the show in 2019.

Mahesh Pandey’s Viral Video
In 2023, a video of Mahesh Pandey, a YouTuber and news reporter, went viral in which Mahesh could be seen doing sit-ups in half naked position. Apparently, the video was shot by Vishal Singh, who called the independent reporter Mahesh Pandey to a hotel in Noida to record an interview with Vishal. When Mahesh reached the hotel room, Vishal forcefully asked him to remove half his clothes and do sit-ups.
