Umesh belongs to a Hindu Family. He started his acting career in 2010 with the Marathi film “Payback,” in which he played the role of a sub-inspector. He also featured in films like “Gajaar: Journey of the Soul (2011),” “Tapaal (2014),” “Killa (2015),” “Vazandar (2016).”
In 2014, he made his debut in Kannada Cinema with “Kalyanamasthu.” In the same year, he featured in Atmasaakshi. Jagtap has appeared in Hindi films like “Chaarfutiya Chhokare” (2014) and “Umrika” (2014).
Umesh has also acted in various short films like “Kamarband” (2015), “Mochi” (2016), and “Ukli (The Boiling Point)” (2017).
