Sejal Sharma was an Indian television actress who committed suicide on 25 January 2020. Sejal was known for her role in the TV Serial, “Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji” on Star Plus where she played the role of Simmi Khosla, the adoptive sister of the lead actor. The serial started in January 2019 and was abruptly ended in August 2019.
Sejal was born on Wednesday, 26 October 1994 (age: 26 years; at the time of death), she hails from Udaipur in Rajasthan. Sejal came to Mumbai in 2017 to pursue her acting career, prior to getting a role in a Star Plus’ TV Serial, “Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji”, Sejal worked in commercials with actor Aamir Khan and cricketers Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya.

On 25 January 2020 at around 5 am, Sejal was found hanging from the ceiling fan of her bedroom. Sejal left a suicide note saying that no one is responsible for her suicide.
Sejal was living in a rented flat with a roommate in Royal Nest housing society, Shivar Garden, Mira Road.
According to her friends, Sejal was going through depression after her TV serial, “Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji” ended few months ago and she was struggling to find any work. Her friends also hinted that apart from work, Sejal was also having a bad time in her relationship.

- Sejal had a habit of reading and writing, she was a fan of poet, Sylvia Plath.
