Shreya Dhanwanthary also called Reya, is the quintessential example of beauty with brains. She is an actress, model, and author. Shreya became famous for her role as “Devanshi Tailor” in the web series ‘The Reunion‘ (2018).

Shreya was born into a middle-class Telugu family and was initially raised in Delhi, before spending 17 years in the Middle East, where she lived in 7 countries as her father used to work in aviation. She has always been a performer as she has been acting since she was 4 years old, and has trained in theatre and dance, including Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi, and Kathak. After completing her schooling, she came back to India for her higher studies and her family shifted base to Delhi. In 2008, she gave an audition for the Pantaloons Femina Miss India South when she was in her 3rd year of engineering and went on to become the 1st runner-up.

She got her first acting break with the Telugu musical coming of age film ‘Sneha Geetham’ in 2010.

She was also a Miss India 2008 Finalist. Her desire to become an actress made her join in Elite, a talent management firm in Delhi, before coming to Mumbai to pursue acting on advise of Bhumi Pednekar who was then an assistant casting director for Yash Raj Films. During her struggling days in Mumbai, she started doing commercials for part-time earning but she got flooded with modeling offers and did commercials for leading brands like- Samsung, Fastrack, Airtel, Pantaloons, Safi, Provogue, Vogue Eyewear, Gitanjali, D’damas, Liberty Footwear, Bharat Matrimony, etc.

She is a voracious reader and writer who penned her first novel ‘Fade to White’ in 2016.

Shreya Dhanwanthary is a 30-years-old (born on 30 November 1988) model from Hyderabad, India. Her schooling has been primarily from various schools in the Middle East. Shreya is a B.Tech in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) from National Institute of Technology, Warangal, Telangana. She made her debut in the Telegu film Sneha Geetham and has worked in two web series “Ladies Room” and “The Reunion.” One of her future projects also includes a Bollywood film- Cheat India which is likely to be released in 2019.
