Saurav Mahakal is an Indian sharpshooter, who is one of the suspects in the murder case of the Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala.

Saurav Mahakal aka Siddhesh Hiraman Kamble ^[1]The Economic Times was born in Uttarmala Village, near Narayangaon, Pune.

Accused in Sidhu Moose Wala Murder Case

Saurav has been involved in various criminal cases like extortion and murder for a very long time. According to some sources, he works for the underworld don Arun Gawli. In 2021, Saurav, along with his alliance Santosh Jadhav, was involved in the murder of history-sheeter Omkar alias Rania Bankhele. Since then, they were escaping from the police.

In 2021, the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) charged Saurav and Santosh under various sections like 302, 120 B, 34, 25, 27, and section 3 (1) 3 (4). Reportedly, Santosh escaped to Rajasthan where he was arrested for firing on a businessman for extortion, and in the jail, he met the members of the Lawrence Bishnoi group. Whereas, in June 2022, Saurav was captured by the local police in Pune when he was trying to escape to Nepal. Saurav was also identified as one of the suspects in the Sidhu Moose Wala murder case. He was further investigated by the Punjab Police for his involvement in the Sidhu murder case. ^[2]Mirror Now During a media conversation, while talking about Saurav’s involvement in the Moosewala murder case, ADG (Law and Order) Kulwant Kumar Sarangal said,

Mahakal and Santosh Jadhav are involved in the murder of Moosewala. They are very much aware of the conspiracy. During the investigation, it came to light that Mahakal is part of Lawrence Bishnoi gang.”
