The news about their wedding was revealed by Mahira’s manager Anushay Talha Khan, who took to Instagram and posted a video in which Mahira was seen walking towards Salim, who had tears in his eyes after seeing her.

Salim is Mahira’s second husband. Before him, she was married to Ali Askari, who is a TV actor, director, and producer. They separated in 2015 after eight years of marriage. Together, they have a 13-year-old son named Azlan.

In 2005, he began his career as an assistant brand manager at GSK, a company based in the United States. He continued working there until 2008. In 2015, he became a team leader at the Italian company ENI. In 2016, he founded Simpaisa which enables users to conduct financial transactions directly using their SIM cards. The company collaborates with merchants in various industries across 15 countries.
