Pranutan was born on 10 March 1993 (Age: 26 years old, as in 2019) in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Since childhood, she wanted to be an actress. She is a lawyer by profession. She hit the headlines when Salman Khan introduced her through his Twitter account by saying that she would play the lead role opposite Zaheer Iqbal in Nitin Kakkar’s upcoming film, ‘Notebook.’

She did her schooling at Cathedral and John Connon School, Mumbai and graduation in Legal Science & Law (B.L.S. LLB) from Government Law College, Mumbai. Pranutan also did Master of Laws (LLM) from University of Mumbai, Mumbai. She is a professional lawyer.

Having been a Motion Picture as Literature teacher for 20 years, I can tell you that Pranutan is going to be a big star- if she came to the states, she would be a “sought after” actress. For a debut film, her subtlety and sense of camera in NOTEBOOK were that of a seasoned, experienced actress. She has the ability to convey emotions with the slightest of expression; that’s her best atttribute- she is built for “close ups.” Too often in Bollywood, actresses are way over the top- they play to a back row as if they were in a stage production. Pranutan is a FILM ACTRESS. She knows how she looks in the camera and the camera LOVES HER. Good luck on your career, young lady- I look forward to HELMET.
