Dancer
She was interested in dancing since childhood. She used to take part in dance competitions held in her art school and college. She has done a course in Bharatanatyam. When she was studying in college, she used to participate in inter-college competitions. In one of the intercollege fests, she won, and she was offered the job of an anchor for Zee’s TV show called Zing Scoops. From there, the Zee channel approached her to audition for Dance India Dance (DID). She also participated in the second season of ‘Dance India Dance’ in 2009 but could not clear the audition.

Noorin took acting classes before entering the film industry. In 2007, Noorin made her acting debut with the film ‘Tsunami 81,’ which was directed by her father, Naeem Sha. She gained more attention after working in the 2013 dance film ‘ABCD (Any Body Can Dance),’ which was directed by Remo D’Souza; in the film, she played the character of a dancer named Shaina. In the film ‘The Accidental Prime Minister,’ which was released in 2019, she played the role of a supporting character.
