Career
Madhavi started her career as a teacher and later worked as a principal in a school. In 1994, she started ‘SpeakEasy’ which is a personality development school. The school is set up in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Earlier, her younger son, Anand Deverakonda used to work at ‘SpeakEasy’ as a business development intern.

- According to some media sources, Madhavi played the role of a lecturer in the Telugu film ‘Dear Comrade’ (2019) starring her elder son Vijay Deverakonda.
- During an interview, while talking about Madhavi, Vijay Deverakonda said,
I think when I was in the third grade. My mum and dad had gone out. Me and my younger brother decided to clean the whole house. He was in the first grade and I was in the third. We cleaned up the house and made a greeting card with some pictures and hearts and wrote, ‘I Love you’. She started crying when she saw it. I didn’t understand what made her cry. I don’t think we understood the concept of happy tears then. It made her emotional. So, that’s my first memory of gifting something to her.”

- In 2022, before the release of the Hindi-Telugu film ‘Liger,’ she organised a pooja at her home. During the pooja, she tied a sacred band on the wrist of her son Vijay and the Indian actress Ananya Pandey. Later, Ananya took to her social media account to thank Madhavi. Ananya wrote,
