Chaithra completed her school education at the non-profit organization, Parikrma Humanity Foundation in Bengaluru, Karnataka. She has been interested in music and theatre since her childhood. Chaithra Achar started her acting career as the character Silent Swathi in the Kannada web series, Bengaluru Queens (2017).

She debuted in the film industry as the character named Adya in the Kannada action thriller film, Mahira (2019). The film received a wide range of critical acclamations.

Her performance as characters Nancy in the film Gilky (2022) and Saaki in the film Taledanda (2022) was appreciated by critics and audiences alike. In 2023, she played the character Jenny in the film Toby and the character Surabhi in the film Sapta Sagaradaache Ello – Side A and Sapta Sagaradaache Ello – Side B.

 

Singer

As a trained vocalist, Chaithra Achar was always interested in professional singing. She started as a chorus singer in the film industry and gradually became a playback singer. She sang the song Neenyaro from the film Mayabazar 2016 (2020). One of her most popular songs is Sojugada Soojumallige from the film Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana (2021), which won her the SIIMA Award for Best Female Playback Singer (Kannada) in 2022. Her song Soul of Benki from the film Benki (2022) was also nominated in the same category in the year 2023.
