Harshad Prakash Chopda is an actor from Gondia, Maharashtra, India. He was born on 17 May 1983. This 40-year-old actor is credited for his works in various soap operas. Harshad is best known for his role, âPrem Junejaâ in the TV serial âKis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil.â
He entered the TV industry after he auditioned for the show, Mamta in 2006 which used to air on Zee TV.

After he gave his 12th board examination, his parents enrolled him in Modern College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, Pune to pursue his graduation in Engineering. He immediately moved to Mumbai after he completed his graduation to pursue his career in acting. After debuting in the TV industry with his show, Mamta in 2006, Harshad appeared on many shows like Left Right Left, Ambar Dhara, Tere Liye, Dharampatni, etc.

His show, âKis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dilâ got him immense popularity. The show continued for four years, i.e. from, 2008-2014.
He was also awarded the New Talent Awards Best in the New Onscreen Couple category with Additi Gupta in 2008, Indian Television Academy Awards in GR8! Face Of The Year and in Most Popular Actor categories in 2010. He also won âStar Parivaar Awardsâ, for âFavourite Naya Sadasya(Male)â, âFavourite Jodiâ, and âIndian Telly Awardsâ for âBest Actorâ.
In 2018, he along with Jennifer Winget starred in the show, Bepannah.
He was ranked 16th on Times of India‘s ‘Top 20 Most Desirable Men‘ on Indian Television 2017.
