Short Films
Disha appeared in a 2012 Hindi short film titled Baatein Kuch Ankahi Si in which she played the role of Shruti. In 2015, she was seen in Being, a Hindi short film, as Nazneen. In the same year, she appeared in another Hindi short film Happy Daughter’s Day.
Films
She appeared as Ria in the 2017 Hindi drama film III Smoking Barrels; the film won numerous awards including an award at Ciudad De Mexico International Film Festival in 2018. She shared the screen with actors like Anant Mahadevan and Abhay Kulkarni in the 2018 film Evening Shadows in which she played the role of Neela. She appeared as Sara in the 2020 YouTube film Baggage.

In the 2022 Amazon Prime web series Main Monica, Disha played the role of Chandni; she acted in eight episodes of the series. In an interview, she talked about her role and said,
I loved how there are so many songs already dedicated to Chandni in Bollywood and somehow it just made Chandni more endearing to me. My character is a struggling actress in Mumbai, who dances at a bar to make her ends meet. She comes from a village in Maharashtra but has made Mumbai her home. Although she faces the struggles of living in the city and making her dreams come true, there is a lot of grit and spunk in her. I relate to her spirit of not giving in to the troubles.”
