Dhruv Barman aka Dhruv Sushil Barman ^[1]Redbull was born on Saturday, 26 February 1994 (age 29 years; as of 2023) in Gurgaon (Gurugram). His zodiac sign is Pisces. Basketball

His journey as a basketball player started because of his brother. His brother used to watch Space Jam (1996) film when Dhruv was in school. His brother started playing basketball and he also started playing it after watching him. He was 6 years old when he started playing basketball. As a kid, he also used to play football and cricket but finally decided to pursue basketball. He went on to play state level and won the gold medal in the 9th standard. His basketball team in Delhi was the best one and won almost all the basketball tournaments. He went on to play the nationals but couldn’t due to certain political issues. After that, he went to Canada and later formed his own team. He was leading the 3-point league. He came back to India in 2017 and played and won 3BLeague and then he decided to stay in India and play further. He was ranked 1 FIBA 3×3 player in India. He has been endorsed by Puma and he is a Redbull global all-star for India. In the season 2 of 3Bleague, he became the most valuable player in round 2. Before 2019, he was a member of the Delhi Hoopers team. The Delhi Hoopers were the dominant team in Season 1 of the 3X3BL, which is India’s first professional 3×3 basketball league. They won five out of the six rounds in Season 1 and consistently appeared in multiple World Tour Masters events. Their outstanding performance even earned them a spot to represent the league at the World Tour Finals held in Beijing. He was also the part of 3X3 Pro Basketball League. Not only this, he has also played for the team Chandigarh Challengers.

In 2023, he took part in the Netflix dating reality show series “In Real Love.” During the show, he formed a connection with another contestant, Ananya S Rao. The show was hosted by Rannvijay Singh and Gauahar Khan.
