Career

In June 2013, she started working as a senior client servicing and management intern at the Kolkata-based advertising agency Be the Bee. After working there for more than two years, she joined the advertising agency J. Walter Thompson, Kolkata, as a senior account manager. She worked there from January 2016 to June 2016. Deesha started working as a head content acquisition and supervising producer at the film production company Pooja Entertainment, Mumbai, in September 2016. During her time there, she worked as a supervising producer for the Hindi film ‘Mitron’ (2018). She worked with Pooja Entertainment for around six years. From June 2019 to December 2022, Deesha worked as a chief operating officer at Jjust Music, Mumbai, an independent music label. There, she worked closely with the Talents & Execution teams, assisting in the curation of songs, development of promotional strategies, and conceptualization of the visual style and atmosphere for the key visuals of various campaigns. In January 2023, she joined the music production company Airris Entertainment as a creative producer. In 2020, she was selected as one of the panellists for the Non-Film Pitch by All About Music, India’s leading conference dedicated to innovation, networking, and business prospects within the music industry.
