Deepak Kalal was born on 19 October 1972 (46 years old; age as in 2018) in Los Angeles, California, USA. Kalal created headlines when the controversy queen, Rakhi Sawant, announced her wedding to him on her social media platforms. He was born into a middle-class Marathi family of Pune; later moved to Los Angeles, USA. He could not pursue his studies after 10th standard due to the financial crisis in his family. Nonetheless, he did a course in Hotel Management. A hotel receptionist by profession, Deepak is well-known for his fan base on social media and keeps his fans entertained with hilarious videos of himself and his family. Apart from India, he is also quite popular in Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Career
Deepak Kalal attended school till 10th Standard. He could not continue his studies because of financial issues. He did a Craftsmanship Course in Cookery from Rizvi College of Hotel Management, Bandra, Mumbai.
In 2011, he visited Kashmir for the first time and shot a video in the valley. He became an internet sensation after he posted his videos on Kashmir Valley.
He is very much vocal about his views on Kashmir. He says that peace should be propagated in Kashmir and not violence. He is a frequent visitor of the valley and wants to settle down in the Kashmir valley only but Article 370 prohibits so.
A Kashmir-based tourist website has made Deepak Kalal the brand ambassador of Kashmir.
In 2018, Deepak was seen on Colors TV’s reality show ‘India’s Got Talent‘ (IGT) where he entertained the judges with his humour.
Apparently, Deepak was also approached for one of the most controversial reality shows ‘Bigg Boss’ but he declined the offer.
