Deepjot Singh Jandu, better known as Deep Jandu, is a Punjabi singer and music director. He is popularly known for using the phrase “AGIYA NI OHI BILLO TIME” in his songs.

Deep Jandu was born on 21 December 1990 (age 28 years; as in 2018) in Montreal, Canada. His zodiac sign is Sagittarius. He did his schooling in Toronto, Canada. He had a deep interest in music right from his childhood and often skipped his classes to make music beats at home. He was good at singing ‘Boliyan’ and ‘Shers.’ Jandu received his training in music from Ustad Jagdish Singh Virdi and Pandit Mahesh Mulwani. He was also good at dance and at the age of 14, he joined a local bhangra group called “Sonay Gabroo Punjab De” and started performing with them.

Career

Deep Jandu started his career as a singer in 2011 with the song “Shera Naal Yaari.” Subsequently, he released songs like “Nishana,” “Nakhrey,” “Janeh Jaana,” and “Court.” Jandu then started working as a music director and worked in many Punjabi songs “Designer,” “Camero Kali,” “Underestimate,” “Yaar Beli” and “Jail.” Some of his amazing works include “Up & Down,” “Good Life,” “Gangster Scene,” and “Aa Giya Ni Ohi Billo Time.”

Controversy

In 2017, Deep Jandu was accused by the music artist, Zwirek Beat, for stealing his music. Zwirek, who produces trap music claimed that Jandu has stolen his music and used it in his new song “Designer” which was sung by Nimrat Khaira. He even said that Deep earlier approached him to buy his music through emails and when Jandu received no response from him, he stole the beats. Zwirek revealed all this through his Facebook post.
