Binnu was born on 29 August 1975 (age 48; as of 2023) in Dhuri, Sangrur, Punjab, India. Binnu hails from a Jatt Sikh family. He did his schooling from Sarvhitkari Vidya Mandir Dhuri, Punjab, India. He went to Punjabi University, Patiala, Punjab, India to pursue Post-Graduation in Theatre and Television. He has been a Bhangra entertainer and also performed at the India Festival in Germany and UK.

Career
Binnu Dhillon kick-started his career as a TV actor and marked his debut with “Parchhawain” (1998). Subsequently, he appeared in many TV serials like “Sarhad,” “Lori,” “Gaoundi Dharti,” “Sirnaave,” “Man Jeetey Jag Jeet,” “Channo Chan Vargi,” and many more. He also directed a play called “Naughty Baba in Town” which was conducted in both the USA and Canada. He debuted in Punjabi films with “Sohrab da badla dragon.” In 2002, he marked his debut in Bollywood with “Shaheed -E- Azam.”
Binnu Dhillon rose to fame with his comic timing in films like “Carry On Jatta,” “Sirphire,” “Raula Pai Gaya,” “Lucky Di Unlucky Story,” and many more.
He co-starred with Sargun Mehta in his latest release “Kala Shah Kala” (2019).
