In 2005, Ayesha sang the songs ‘Chiman Uthegi Nahin,’ ‘Ga Tu Aisi Dhun Mein,’ and ‘Woh Kisna Hai’ from the film ‘Kisna: The Warrior Poet’ for which she gained immense popularity. All songs in the film ‘Kisna: The Warrior Poet’ (2005) were composed by her husband, Ismail Darbar. She has collaborated with many known vocalists including Hariharan, Alka Yagnik, S.Shailaja, Kailash Kher, Rakesh Pandit, and Sukhwinder Singh in the songs of the film ‘Kisna: The Warrior Poet’ (2005).
She gave her voice to the song ‘Abhi Abhi’ from the film ‘Kudiyon Ka Hai Zamaana’ (2006). In 2008, Ayesha and Ismail were the celebrity judges of Sony TV’s singing reality show ‘Waar Parriwar’ for the first week.
