In 2015, she made her acting debut as Sundari in the new Zee Kannada series ‘Maha Devi,’ which premiered on 14 September 2015. Sundari, the series’ primary character, is an atheist. Archana Jois was lauded not just for her spectacular performance, but also for her beauty and grace. In 2020, she graced the silver screen with her appearance in Tarang TV’s Kannada language drama series ‘Durga.’ She played the role of Stuti. The plot of the program revolves around Durjay and Stuti’s unexpected marriage, in which neither of them has a husband and wife relationship. As much as the husband, Durjay, adored his wife, the wife, Stuti, despises him. With her role of Stuti, she received huge critical acclaims and became a household name in n time. Her particular contempt for God enrages everyone around her, especially her family. Her skepticism about the goddess derives from her past incarnation as the princess ‘Rajeswari,’ who was a deity’s ardent devotee at the time. Three wicked guys were seeking the ‘Shri Chakra,’ a wonderful piece of divinity, and murdered her. In this moment, Sundari’s character as a reincarnation is given a slight twist. The series is based on a rejection of all such beliefs, and this innovative work introduces a previously unknown Sundari character. The actress did an excellent job in her part and increased in popularity as a consequence. Because of her simplicity and attractiveness, she has the appearance of a girl next door. She played the role of Stuti.

She rose to notoriety in 2018 after appearing in one of Kannada cinema’s biggest successes, K.G.F: Chapter 1. Prashanth Neel‘s Indian Kannada-language period action film, written and directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur, was released on 21 December 2018 and earned a total of 250 crore during its theatrical run, breaking the record for the highest earning Kannada film of all time, becoming a cult success. Kamal was played by Vasishta N. Simha in the film, which also starred Yash, Ramachandra Raju, Srinidhi Shetty, Ananth Nag, and Achyuth Kumar. Talking about her experience working of working with the team, she said,

I am very delighted to work with G Gangadhar under the banner of EK Pictures. I am honoured to share screen space with fine actors like Sidhartha Maadhyamika, Aadukalam Naren, Venumadhav and Tejas.”

While some people are uncomfortable playing mothers on TV, Archana Jois, who is still in her late twenties, pulled it off with aplomb in KGF Chapter 1. Despite sharing the screen with veteran performers like Anant Nag, Yash, and Nagabharana, Archana made her presence known. She portrayed Yash’s mother in the film, earning her the moniker “KGF mother” or “Rocky Bhai’s mother.” She has no regrets about taking up the role of mother so early in her career.

I am overjoyed to be a part of KGF.” When Prashanth Neel approached me about playing the protagonist’s mother, I was shocked and concerned. It is owing to my buddy RJ Pradeepa, who suggested I give the film a try, that I am able to do so.”

In 2021, She disclosed her involvement in K.G.F: Chapter 2, the sequel to the 2018 film K.G.F: Chapter 1. The film stars Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Vasishta N. Simha, and Prakash Raj. After defeating Garuda, Rocky, whose name frightens his opponents, becomes the uplifter of people struggling at the KGF by supporting and fighting for them. Rocky is viewed as a hero by his allies. Now he must confront his most formidable antagonist, Adheera, and discover more about his background. The Will was released on 14 April 2022, and it grossed more than Rs 625 crore internationally on its fifth day, making it the seventh highest-grossing Indian film.

Apart from Kannada, Archana has also appeared in a Marathi film called Rajkumar, which was an adaptation of the Kannada film Bombaygala Love and was produced by Maharashtra-based theatrical artists. The film was made available on YouTube due to the COVID-19 issue. Though the epidemic caused some terrible things, it also had a number of positive consequences. Because to OTT, entertainment and movies have developed, providing filmmakers and artists with a bigger alternative platform. In 2022, she will also star in Ramenahalli Jagan’s Kannada film ‘Hondisi Bareyiri.’ Talking about her character in the film, she narrated,

I play a character named Pallavi, whose journey, from youth to middle-age is covered in the film. She is a mature, independent and an emotionally strong woman. I fell in love with the character. She appealed to me as an actor. It gave me immense satisfaction to play this role. Hondisi Bareyiri and Pallavi are close to my heart. Her motto is to ‘welcome everything that life throws at you with open arms’, which in itself is a huge learning curve for anyone.”
