Antara’s father, Raju Srivastava, was a comedian. Her mother, Shikha Srivastava, is a homemaker. She has a brother, Aayushmaan Srivastava, who is a sitar player.

Career

Antara made her debut as an actor in 2018 with the Bollywood film Vodka Diaries in which she played the role of Kavya.

She joined Flying Dreams Entertainment Pvt Ltd as an assistant producer and assistant director in 2013. In 2014, she joined MAK Productions as an assistant director. She has worked as an assistant producer and director for the Hindi films like Phullu (2017), Paltan (2018), and Pataakha (2018) and short films The Job (2018) and Speed Dial (2021).

She has worked as a Costume Designer in the film The Job and We Own.

Award

In 2006, she received the National Bravery Award.

• Her hobbies include travelling and sketching.

• In 2006, Antara talked about the time when she received the national bravery award at President Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam‘s house for saving her mother from the thieves who had entered their house and threatened her mother to hand over the keys to the locker. In the interview, she said that as soon as she realized that they were being robbed, she quietly went to her bedroom and called the police station. She later informed her father about the situation who was out at work. Thereafter, she started shouting from her room’s window for help. The watchman heard her voice and came to their rescue with two constables. In the interview, she further added,
  

  The whole thing happened within 10 minutes and I think it changed me forever.”

• In 2022, in an interview, she talked about her father’s health, who was admitted to AIIMS hospital in Delhi after suffering from a heart attack. In the interview, she said,
  

  My father has been travelling regularly to Delhi and other places across the country for work. He makes it a point to exercise in the gym every day and never misses his workout. He was perfectly fine and has had no heart ailments, so this is very shocking. His condition has neither improved nor worsened. The entire medical team is doing their best. We are praying and hoping he will be fine soon. My mother is with him right now inside the ICU.”
