After completing her schooling at a school in Sathupalli, Ananya, along with her family, moved to Hyderabad to pursue further studies. In March 2014, Ananya joined Infosys as a test analyst and was later promoted to the designation of senior software engineer at Infosys’ Public Service department. Concurrently, she chose to study law. While working at Infosys, she got an opportunity to appear in a short film, marking her first foray into acting. As her passion for acting grew, Ananya decided to further hone her skills by enrolling in an acting school located in Manikonda, Hyderabad.

Ananya Nagalla made her acting debut with the Telugu-language short film ‘Shaadi’ in 2017. She played the role of ‘Shanti’ in the short film.
