Sharwanand is an Indian actor and producer who predominantly works in the Telugu film industry. He is known for his work in films like ‘Engaeyum Eppothum’ (2011) (Tamil), ‘Run Raja Run’ (2014) (Telugu), and ‘Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju’ (2015) (Telugu).
Sharwanand Myneni was born on Tuesday, 6 March 1984 (age 39 years; as of 2023) in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India. His zodiac sign is Pisces. He grew up in Hyderabad, Telangana. Sharwanand attended The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet, where he was classmates with actors Ram Charan and Rana Daggubati. He pursued a Bachelor of Commerce at Wesley Degree College in Secunderabad, Telangana.

Sharwanand belongs to a family of businessmen.
His father, Myneni Ratnagiri Vara Prasad Rao (also known as MRV Prasad Rao), is a businessman, while his mother, Myneni Vasundhara Devi, is a homemaker.
Sharwanand has an elder brother, Kalyan, and an elder sister, Radhika.
Sharwanand got married to Rakshitha Reddy, a US-based software engineer, on 3 June 2023 at The Leela Palace in Jaipur. Rakshitha is the granddaughter of Bojjala Gopala Krishna Reddy, an Indian politician, who represented the Telugu Desam Party.
Ram Pothineni, an actor, is Sharwanand’s cousin.
Sharwanand debuted in the Telugu film industry, also known as Tollywood, with the film ‘Aidho Tareekhu’ (also spelt as ‘Aidho Thareku’) in 2004.
In the same year, he appeared as ‘Vijay’ in a comedy-drama film titled ‘Shankar Dada M.B.B.S.,’ which was a remake of the Hindi-language film ‘Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.’ (2003). In 2008, he played the role of ‘Abhiram/Abhi’ in the road film ‘Gamyam.’ Sharwanand appeared in many other films such as Nandu in ‘Andari Bandhuvaya’ (2010), Raja Harishchandra Prasad in ‘Run Raja Run’ (2014), Karthik in ‘Sreekaram’ (2021), and Chiranjeevi “Chiru” in ‘Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu’ (2022).
Sharwanand made his debut in the Tamil film industry, also known as Kollywood, with the film ‘Kadhalna Summa Illai’ (2009) in which he appeared as ‘Abhiram.’ The film was partially a reshot version of the Telugu film ‘Gamyam.’
In 2011, he played the role of ‘Gautham’ in a romantic comedy-drama road film titled ‘Engaeyum Eppothum.’ Sharwanand appeared in many other films including ‘JK Enum Nanbanin Vaazhkai’ (2015) and ‘Kanam’ (2022).
In 2012, Sharwanand debuted as a producer with the Telugu-language romantic heist thriller film ‘Ko Antey Koti.’ He also appeared as ‘Vamsi’ in the film.

- Sharwanand often contributes to the welfare of society and the environment. His first tweet after joining Twitter in March 2020 was about his contribution of Rs. 15 lacs to the Corona Crisis Charity (CCC). This charity focused on assisting daily wage workers who were grappling with the impacts of the COVID-19 crisis.
Beyond financial aid, Sharwanand took a hands-on approach to environmental conservation. He adopted a local park close to his residence as part of his commitment to the Green India Challenge.

The initiative focused to foster comprehensive development and create robust infrastructure in schools throughout the state; this was to be achieved by establishing digital classrooms and building extra ones; however, soon after his tweet, Sharwanand faced criticism from an opposing party’s supporters. They accused him of overlooking Telangana’s previous advancements. Some responses to his tweet were quite hostile. The Times of India A National Party representative tweeted,

A number of individuals even invited Sharwanand to understand their struggles in Telangana, using the hashtag ‘Maa Jilla Maa Kastalu.’
