Kalaiyarasan Arjun was born Kalaiyarasan Harikrishnan on Thursday, 20 February 1986 (age 37 years; as of 2023) in Madras (now Chennai), Tamil Nadu, India. His zodiac sign is Pisces. He did his schooling at St. John’s Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Arjun sunk his feet in the acting world with the film Arjunan Kadhali in 2008; however, due to some reasons, the film was never released. In 2010, he worked in the film Nandalala in which he played the role of a drunkard.

He played cameo roles in the films Attakathi (2012) and Madha Yaanai Koottam (2013). According to Kalaiyarasan, he got his break through the drama film Madras (2014) in which he played the role of Anbu.
