Gopika Palat Chirakkaraveettil, or Gopika P.C. aka Mahima Nambiar, was born on Wednesday, 21 December 1994 (age 29 years; as of 2023) in Kasaragod District, Kerala, India. Her zodiac sign is Sagittarius.

She completed her school education at Thanbeehul Islam Higher Secondary School (TIHSS) in Nayanmarmoola, Kasaragod. She did her graduation and post-graduation in English Literature by correspondence from Kannur University. She appeared in a minor role as the sister of actor Dileep in the film Kaaryasthan (2010), during the holidays after her tenth grade. She has an elder brother Unnikrishnan, an engineer settled in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Career
Film
Mahima’s first entry into an acting career was in a minor role as the hero’s sister in the Malayalam film, Kaaryasthan (2010). Her debut as a lead actor was in the Tamil film Saattai (2012) as a school student named Arivazhagi or Arivu.

Mahima appeared in several Tamil films such as Agathinai (2015) as the character Karthika, Kuttram 23 (2017) as Thendral, and Puriyatha Puthir (2017) as Mrithula. She returned to the Malayalam film industry in the Malayalam film Masterpiece (2017) as Vedika. She also appeared as Meenakshi in Madhura Raja (2019) alongside Mammootty, Jai, and Anusree.
