Amey Wagh was born on Friday, 13 November 1987 (age 35 years; as of 2022) in Pune, Maharashtra, India. His zodiac sign is Scorpio. Amey grew up in a joint family in Pune. According to him, there were more than sixty-five people in his family. Amey took a keen interest in acting and theatres since his early school days.

Marathi Films

Amey Wagh made his debut in the Marathi film industry with the film Kavadse in which he appeared as a child actor.

He appeared as Sanjay Kamble in the 2008 film Joshi Ki Kamble. In the same year, he was seen in Aaicha Gondhal. In 2013, he played the role of a character named Raghu in Popat. He appeared as Banesh Fene (Banya) in the 2017 film Faster Fene. In the same year, he bagged the role of Alok in Muramba for which he received a Filmfare Award. He made a guest appearance in the 2018 film Ashleel Udyog Mitra Mandal. In 2021, he was seen in Karkhanisanchi Waari: Ashes on a road trip. In 2022, he appeared in numerous films including Zombivali, Me Vasantrao, and Ananya.

He bagged the role of Jaggu in the 2023 film Jaggu Ani Juliet.

In 2015, he landed the role of a character named Kaivalya Karkhanis in Dil Dosti Duniyadari. He hosted the Zee Marathi Awards 2015 – Utsav Natyancha Aplya Maitricha. In 2016, he hosted a talk show titled Casting Couch with Amey & Nipun. He was seen in Dil Dosti Dobara, a sequel of Dil Dosti Duniyadari, as Sahil Pradhan in 2017. Reportedly, in 2009, Amey Wagh auditioned for the role of Chatur in the film 3 Idiots; however, he did not get selected for the role. Wagh made his Bollywood debut in 2012 with the film Aiyyaa in which he appeared as Nana.

He landed the role of an ATC Junior Official in the 2018 comedy stoner film High Jack. In 2022, he was seen in Govinda Naam Mera in which he played the role of Kaustubh Godbole.

In August 2019, Amey Wagh shared the screen with Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Sacred Games 2; he played the role of a character named Kushal.
