Sahil Mehta served the VAYAM – The Theatre Society of Shivaji College as a faculty from 2 August 2016 to 10 February 2017. He then marked his acting debut with the Indian web series ‘Sofa So Good’ in 2016.

He was then cast in the Netflix Original’s web series Guilty as Arnab Mitra in 2020 by Dharmatic Entertainment. Sahil Mehta then appeared in the short film Gair (Pariah) in May 2022. This film was released in the US.

In June 2022, he worked in the film Raksha Bandhan, which was a comedy-drama that revolved around the relationship of a brother with his four sisters.
