Career

Pradeep Narwal’s Kabaddi journey began in a local contest held in the Sonipat district. Under the guidance of his coach, Ram Mehar Singh, he honed his skills while representing the Air Force team in a National Championship, which ultimately led to their victory.

In the second season of the Vivo Pro Kabaddi League, Pradeep made his debut playing for Bengaluru Bulls.

In the Pro Kabaddi League, Pradeep initially played for Bengaluru Bulls in season 2. He then moved to the Patna Pirates in season 3, where he made an impressive mark by scoring 121 raid points in 16 matches, contributing significantly to his team’s first PKL title. Remaining with the Patna Pirates for subsequent seasons, Pradeep showcased his brilliance in season 4, accumulating 133 points and leading his team to their second PKL championship. In season 5, Pradeep Narwal etched his name in PKL history by amassing a record-breaking 369 raid points, the highest in the league’s history. His remarkable performance played a crucial role in guiding his team to their third consecutive championship, where he contributed 19 points in the finals.

In Season 6, Narwal displayed exceptional performance by securing a Super 10 in each of his team’s initial three matches. However, his streak was interrupted when facing the Telugu Titans. Substituting the player in Season 9

In Pro Kabaddi League PKL Season 9, Pardeep came to light when he was substituted in the last 4 minutes of the game against Telugu Titans by coach Jasveer Singh. The decision to substitute Pardeep Narwal, who was on the verge of completing his Super 10, left experts dissatisfied. Mohit Chhillar expressed his disagreement with the coach’s choice, stating, “It was a misguided decision made at a critical moment. I fail to understand why the coach did not allow him to finish his Super 10. I strongly oppose this decision.” However, later in an interview with Zee News English, Narwal expressed his opinion that the coach has the authority to make such a decision, and it was made to provide other players with sufficient opportunities.
