• Suraj met an accident on 24 June 2023 on the Mysuru-Gundlupet highway near Begur while he was travelling from Mysore to Ooty on a bike. Reportedly, the bike lost control and hit the tipper lorry while trying to overtake the tractor. He was rushed to a private hospital in Mysuru.
