In 2003, he made his acting debut with the Kannada romance drama film ‘Chandra Chakori’ in which he played the lead role of Puttaraju.

In the 2004 Kannada romance drama film ‘Kanti,’ he appeared as Srikantha ‘Kanti,’ a college student who becomes politically entangled after falling in love with a Marathi girl. In 2008, he appeared as Bhadra in the Kannada film ‘Minchina Ota,’ a film produced by his father, which also featured his brother Vijay Raghavendra.
