Siddharth, whose full name is Siddharth Sirish Desai and often called ‘Bahubali’, [1]Siddharth Desai – Instagram was born on December 5, 1991, in a village in Maharashtra, India (age 32 years; as of 2023). His zodiac sign is Sagittarius. He went to school at Jayprakash Vidyalay, Kini, and Shriman VP Desai Jr College, Kowad. When he was young, a coach named Appa Dalvi taught him Kabaddi in his village. He later studied B.Sc. in Physics in college and worked for Air India. There, another coach, Ashok Sinde, trained him to play Kabaddi for the company.

Career
Desai joined the Indian army after his studies. However, his love for Kabaddi led him to leave the army to join the Satej Kabaddi club in Pune and train. Later, he worked at Air India and played Kabaddi with famous players like Ajay Thakur and Deepak Hooda.

National Games
In 2018, Desai played with the Maharashtra team and they won a gold medal at the senior nationals. This win was special because Maharashtra hadn’t won in 10 years.

Pro Kabaddi League
Desai started playing in the Pro Kabaddi in its 6th season. U Mumba team bought him for INR 36.4 Lakh. He did very well in that season where he scored 218 raid points and 3 tackle points.

Then, because of his performance as a newcomer, in the 7th season, the Telegu Titans offered him INR 1.45 Cr to play for them. He played well, but his team came in 11th place. He continued to play for them in the next two seasons, seasons 8 and 9 where he was being coached by L Srinivas Reddy.

- Suraj, Siddharth’s brother, is a good Kabaddi player too. In the first season of the Pro Kabaddi League, the Jaipur Pink Panthers chose him. But the army said he couldn’t play. In season 5, the Delhi team picked him, but he got hurt and couldn’t play any games. In season 7, he played 12 games with the Telegu Titans.
- Siddharth grew up in a village where everyone loved Kabaddi. He began playing in first grade. He said in an interview that he started playing late because he was busy studying. When he told his brother he wanted to play, his brother told him to study instead.
- Siddharth couldn’t play in Pro Kabaddi for a long time because he wasn’t young enough and hadn’t played in national games. But he played in a big game in Maharashtra in 2018 which enabled him to join the PKL.
- In his first season, he scored very quickly. He got paid a lot of money in the 2019 season to play for the Telugu Titans.
- Besides Kabaddi, Siddharth likes to play guitar for an hour every day. He loves to sing and has a YouTube channel for his songs. He said playing guitar helps him focus.
