Career
In December 2002, Sapna Rana began her career as a radio jockey and producer at Radio Mirchi, where she co-hosted Radio Mirchi Mumbai’s breakfast show titled Hello Mumbai. She worked there for 2 years before quitting in 2004. In December 2004, she started working as a project manager at Entertainment Network (India) Ltd, where she coordinated between creative agency, TV partner, artists & event agency for the 50th Filmfare Awards and Femina Miss India Pageant. In 2005, she started working as an associate producer and contestant manager for the reality TV show “Fame Gurukul” on Sony Entertainment Television at Miditech in Mumbai.

In January 2006, she started working as an Assistant vice-president and cluster programming head at Radio Mirchi, U.P. and Rajasthan. In November 2007, she started working as an assistant vice president and programming head at Radio Mirchi, Delhi, and NCR. In July 2010, she moved back to Mumbai and started working as an Assistant vice president of the creative department and content head at Radio Mirchi Digital. In December 2013, she was promoted to Head of Programming, and in January 2016, she became the Senior Vice President of regional programming at West and Central.
