Sanjay Dixit is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer (batch 1986) of the Rajasthan cadre, Additional Chief Secretary to Govt. of Rajasthan, an advocate, and the former secretary of the Rajasthan Cricket Association. He has written several books based on strategic matters, and social issues like Krishna Gopeshvara: Rationalists of Vrishnis (2018), Krishna Yogeshvara: The Dice of Kutil Dharma (2019), Unbreaking India: Decisions On Article 370 & The CAA (2019), and Nullifying Article 370 and Enacting CAA (2020).

Before joining the Indian Administrative Service, Sanjay Dixit worked as a sailor for four years in the Merchant Navy.
