Ritviz is a popular Indian DJ, music producer, and singer.
Ritviz was born as ‘Ritviz Srivastava’ in 1997 (age 23 years; as in 2020) in the Pune City of Maharashtra.
At the age of six, he started learning Khayal from his mother. Later, he trained under Uday Bhawalkar for Drupad. When he was in class 11, he dropped out of school.

Ritviz’s father’s name is Pranay Prasoon (drum player), and his mother’s name is Anvita Bharti (singer).
At the age of 15, he decided to make his career in music. At the age of 17, after dropping out of his school, he began working on music, and in 2014, he released his first EP “Vizdumb.”
Later, he was contacted by High Chai Recordings (US-based global bass music label), who wanted to release his track- ‘Mukti’ through their label.
After getting a global feature at the age of 19, the artist management company, Only Much Louder (OML) asked him to join their label. In 2017, he became the winner of Bacardi House Party Sessions. Talking about it, he said,
I wasn’t expecting any of it. While sending the application to Bacardi House Party guys it was one of those ‘lets-see-what-happens’ kind of a situation. Even after winning the session, I wasn’t expecting the kind of overwhelming response I received from the public”
His single, ‘Udd Gye’ was handpicked by AIB and got released with AIB’s music video ft. DJ Nucleya.
He released his first album ‘Dev’ in 2019.
Few of his hit songs are Barso, Jeet, Liggi, Chalo Chalein, Ved, and Thandi Hawa.
In 2020, he accused the makers of “Pati Patni Aur Woh” (2019) of plagiarizing his song ‘Udd Gaye.’ Addressing to the makers of the film, Ritviz wrote in his tweet, Pune Mirror
I went to the theatre to watch a movie last month, just a regular night out with my folks. Half way through the movie. a track played and that’s when it really hit me. I was listening to a song that’s ridiculously similar to Udd Gaye. I am pretty sure there are others like me, and in case you are wondering if I was somehow involved in the making of said song.”

- During his teens, he was introduced to western music through the VH1 channel. He was so influenced by the music that he started fusing hip hop and pop music in his classical songs.
- In 2019, he remixed one of the songs of Major Lazor ‘Light It Up.’ Talking about it, he said,
They reached out to us around Diwali and I was like “hell yeah man”! I finished the remix like in a day, I was very excited. Yeah, they loved it. I haven’t met the three of them but it would be cool to meet them in person.”
