A surge of eager citizens from every corner of the state gathered at the momentous event, underscoring the burgeoning appeal and widespread influence of the newly established party. Distinguished attendees included Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s grandson, Prakash Ambedkar, and Suraj Mandal, the grandson of B. P. Mandal, who served as the chairman of the Mandal Commission. While addressing the gathering, Ramachandra Yadav articulated the primary goal of his party – to emancipate the people of Andhra Pradesh from the grip of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), TDP, and the Indian National Congress (INC). In a vehement critique, he accused the YSRCP and TDP of abandoning the Backward Classes (BCs), Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), and minorities in the equitable distribution of welfare schemes. He said,

As the people are unable to break free from the shackles of these family parties, I am setting up the BCYP to bring about the much-needed change in AP politics with real socio-economic empowerment of the BCs, SCs, STs and minorities as its underlying objective”

He further added,

As the people are unable to break free from the shackles of these family parties, I am setting up the BCYP to bring about the much-needed change in AP politics with real socio-economic empowerment of the BCs, SCs, STs and minorities as its underlying objective.”
