Pre-debut
After he completed his graduation, he began to work at various theatre and entertainment companies. He worked at a theatre company for eight to nine months, where he liked working on the stage; however, he found it frustrating due to late-night part-time work and sleeping at the theatre. In 2009, he started working part-time at a concert hall. He made announcements and sold merchandise at the ‘Pump Boyz’ show and later, at the ‘Hedwig’ show. In 2008, he made his acting debut on the silver screen with the South Korean historical thriller film ‘A Frozen Flower’ in which he played the cameo role of a royal guard.

He was cast in a lead role in the 2019 South Korean historical drama film ‘Forbidden Dream,’ based on a true story, in which he portrayed the character of Lee Hyang.
