Kim Ye-won was born as ‘Kim Shin-ah’ on Friday, 11 December 1987 (age 32 years; as in 2019) in Seongnam, a city in Gyeonggi Province of South Korea. Her zodiac sign is Sagittarius. She studied in the Theatre and Film Department of Chung-Ang University, Seoul.

As an Actress
In 2008, she made her acting debut with the Ghost series, “Hometown Legends” in the first episode as ‘Cho-ah.’
She has acted in the famous K-dramas such as I Need Romance (2012), The Innocent Man (2012) Who Are You? (2013), Don’t Dare To Dream (2015), Tomorrow, With You (2017), Suspicious Partner (2017), Rich Man (2018), and Welcome to Waikiki 2 (2019). She made her film debut with the film “A Tale of Legendary Libido” (2008) as ‘Dal-Gaeng.’
She has also acted in the films Sunny (2011), Horror Stories (2012), Take Off 2 (2015), and Door Lock (2018). She made her theatre debut with the musical “Like Rain Like Music” (2010) in the role of ‘Jung-hwa/Sang-mi.’ She has acted in a few musicals such as December (2013-2014), Goong (2014), All Shook Up (2014), and Jack the Ripper (2016).
She has sung the OSTs of many K-dramas and films; the first one being “Bird” from the film “The Accidental Gangster and the Mistaken Courtesan” (2008). She has voiced the Ost’s of famous dramas, “Dahlia of Sadness”, Though You’re a Nice Person, That Coalition, What a Fool, and I swear. She has also hosted the Radio show, Volume Up which was broadcasted on KBS Cool FM.
