Naga Jhansi was born in 1997 (age 21 years at the time of her death) in Vadali village, Mudinepalli, Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh. She started her acting career by playing small roles in Telugu serials and films. Jhansi shot to fame with her role in Telugu serial “Pavitra Bandhan” on MAA TV.
In addition to acting, she was also running a beauty parlour in the Ameerpet area of Hyderabad.
Family
Not much is known about her parents. Jhansi has a brother named Durga Prasad.
Naga Jhanshi was allegedly dating Surya, who was her distant relative.
Death
The actress committed suicide on 5 February 2019 by hanging from the ceiling at her residence at Nagarjuna Nagar in Hyderabad. The actress was alone at her residence when she took this heinous step. Her brother, Durga Prasad, alerted the neighbours about the incident when she did not respond to the doorbell. They, then, broke the door of the apartment and found her hanging with the ceiling fan. Naga was immediately rushed to the Gandhi Hospital, Secunderabad.
According to the sources, the actress was apparently chatting with Surya shortly before her death. She was depressed for the last few days as her family did not approve of her relationship with her love interest. It was suspected that the failure in love led her to suicide.
