Mohammed Kaif is an Indian cricketer who plays for Bengal in the domestic circuit. He is also popular for being the younger brother of famous Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami.

Mohammed Kaif also known as Md Kaif [1]Facebook – Md Kaif was born on Tuesday, 10 December 1996 (age 27 years; as of 2024) in Sahaspur Alinagar, Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, India. His zodiac sign is Sagittarius. While studying in school, he started taking cricket training at DNS Academy, Amroha and went on to become a professional cricketer.

Career
Domestic
During his teenage years, he repeatedly gave trials for junior teams of Uttar Pradesh; however, he failed to qualify for any team. In 2016, he moved to Kolkata and started playing cricket for local clubs. He played for different clubs including Town Club in several editions of the Bengal T20 Challenge Tournament. In 2020, he hit 58 runs off 24 balls in a T20 match which included 6 fours and 4 sixes.
He was selected for the Bengal Under-23 team in 2019. Mohammed Kaif made his List-A debut on 27 February 2021 for Bengal against Jammu & Kashmir in the 2020-21 season of the Vijay Hazare Trophy. He debuted in the First Class (FC) cricket in the 2023-24 Ranji Trophy season for Bengal on 5 January 2024 against Andhra Pradesh. He trained under Laxmi Ratan Shukla while playing for Bengal in the domestic tournaments.

He wears jersey number 12 for Town Club in domestic tournaments.
