Next, she appeared in the Arabic thriller film “The Worthy” (2016) as ‘Gulbin.’ In 2018, she played the role of ‘Mona Marwan’ in the Israeli-American spy thriller film “The Angel.” She also appeared in the international co-production films “3000 Nights” (2015), “The Reports on Sarah and Saleem” (2018), and “Tel Aviv on Fire” (2018)

Controversy

Post About Israel–Hamas War 

On 24 October 2023, Maisa Abd Elhadi found herself clouded in controversy when she was arrested for allegedly expressing her support for the Hamas terror group through a social media post. Maisa reportedly posted a picture of a bulldozer breaking the fence between the Gaza Strip and Israel on 7 October during the attack by the Islamist militant group Hamas, which according to reports killed more than 1,400 people. In the caption, Maisa wrote ‘Let’s go Berlin-style’ in reference to the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. According to sources, Maisa was kept under custody until 26 October 2023. [2]India Today
