Karamjit Anmol was born on 2 January 1975 (age 49 years; as of 2024) in Gandua village, Tehsil Sunam, District Sangrur, Punjab. His zodiac sign is Capricorn. He did his schooling from Sangrur’s Seaba International Public School and went to SUS College, Sunam to pursue his graduation. Karamjit was inclined towards music from a very young age and started taking lessons in music when he was 6 years old. He was also good at drama and often used to mimic his neighbours, friend, and school teachers. He released his first music album “Aashiq Bhaaji” when he was in his 12th standard. Karamjit met Bhagwant Maan when he was in college, and started doing theatre with him. After completing his graduation, he received professional training in Music.

Career
Karamjit Anmol started his singing career in the year 1995 with the music album “Aashiq Bhaji.” Subsequently, he released many Punjabi music albums like “Katt Ta Challan Dil Da,” “Jhaliye Tu Rona Chad De,” “Chithian,” “Balori Akh,” and “Shounk.” In 2013, he sang the song “Yaara Ve” from the film ‘Jatt Boys Putt Jattan De.’ The song was a super hit and earned him a lot of appreciation. He followed it by releasing another hit song “Yaara Ve 2.”
Karamjit made his acting debut with the Punjabi film “Chak Jawana” alongside Gurdas Maan. Subsequently, he appeared in many successful Punjabi films including “Jihne Mera Dil Luteya,” “Carry On Jatta,” “Jatt & Juliet,” “Jatt Boys Putt Jattan De,” “Bhaji in Problem,” “Tu Meri Mein Tera,” “Ardaas,” “Ambarsariya,” and “Manje Bistre,” to name a few. In 2017, he bagged the “PTC Best Comedian Of The Year” award for the film “Tu Meri Mein Tera.” As a producer, he has worked on Punjabi films like “Laavaan Phere,” and “Mindo Taseeldarni.”
Anmol has appeared in many Punjabi TV serials like “Jugnu Mast Hai.” “Hasde Hasande Raho,” and “Jugnu Hazir Hai.” He has also been a part of comedy plays like “OMG !! Oh My God” and “Naughty Baba In Town” which have been performed in countries like Canada, America, New Zealand and Australia.
