In 2001, Kanika made her television debut with the serial ‘Kabhi Aaye Na Judaai.’ In 2003, she appeared as ‘Neelima Garg’ in the serial ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii’ (2004) followed by the serial ‘Hey…Yehii To Haii Woh!’ (2004) in which she played the role of ‘Shahana.’ Kanika appeared in many serials including ‘Piya Ka Ghar’ (2005), ‘Virasaat’ (2006), ‘Dill Mill Gayye’ (2007), ‘Raaja Ki Aayegi Baraat’ (2008), and ‘Shaurya Aur Suhani’ (2009).
