Acting

Dhanya Mary Varghese began working as a junior artist in films and a background dancer. In 2003, she first appeared in the song Thottuvilichalo from the film Swapnam Kondu Thulabharam as a background dancer. She made her acting debut in 2006 with the Tamil film Thirudi as Thamarai.

Her debut Malayalam film as a lead actress was Nanma, which was released in 2007, and Sharath Chandran Wayanad was the director of this film. She played the role of Thara in the film.
