Suresh debuted in the Tamil film industry with the film ‘Chocklet’ (also called Chocolate) in 2001. He played the role of a rowdy in the film.

Controversy
Garlanding a Female Anchor
In September 2023, Suresh found himself clouded in controversy after he forcibly placed a garland on a female anchor during an event. The video footage of the incident, in which the anchor appeared visibly uncomfortable, later went viral on the internet. Suresh then took to social media and posted a video in which he issued an apology for his actions.
