Career

After providing services in Indian Army for five years, Badal started his career in the private sector with a manufacturing company. In 1998, Badal started his career as a Deputy General Manager at JK Tyre & Industries Ltd.; he worked for almost nine years and opted for commercial real estate in 2007. In 2007, he was appointed as Vice President (VP) at Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL- a real estate services company), Banglore. He worked as VP for three years, then he was appointed as Managing Director in January 2011 at the Chennai location of JLL where he worked till March 2014. He was shifted to the NCR location at JLL as a Managing Director; he left JLL in February 2017, completing a tenure of more than six years as Managing Director. In April 2017, he joined Cushman & Wakefield as a Managing Director and was employed there till August 2023.

On 17 August 2023, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer at Colliers, Gurugram, Haryana. After joining Colliers, Badal Yagnik issued a statement,
