Career

She acted in various Bhojpuri TV serial and films.

In 2020, she acted in two short films. Before COVID-19 lockdown, she was working as a producer in a film of Mathili language. She was also associated with Pancham Theatre in Mumbai.

Death/Suicide

On 2 August 2020, she committed suicide by hanging herself at her rented apartment in Dahisar suburb, Mumbai. The news of her death came in media after four days of her suicide. A day before she committed suicide, she made a live video of 10 minutes on her Facebook account. In her live video, she said,

If you confide to someone that you are going through some problems and feel suicidal, that person, no matter how good a friend he or she is, will immediately ask you to keep them away from your problems so that they don’t get into trouble after you die. Also people will make fun of you and disrespect you in front of others. So never share your problems with anyone and never consider anyone your friend.

 

A suicide note was also found in which she had mentioned the name of Manish Jha, she wrote that Manish borrowed a two-wheeler from her during Corona lockdown, but he was refusing from returning it. She further wrote that she invested Rs 10000 in a company, Wisdom Productions and even after the maturity date the company is not returning her money with interest. ^[1]Prabhat Khabar The local police said that her husband was out for some work when she committed suicide. ^[2]Outlook India
