Ankush Bhardwaj was born on Friday, 11 December 1992 (age 29 years; as of 2021) in Kotgarh, a small village in the Kumarsain subdivision of Shimla district, Himachal Pradesh. He did his schooling at Hainault Public School, Shimla. Ankush studied Bachelor of Commerce from Rajiv Gandhi Government Degree College, Shimla in 2014. After that, he studied Masters of Business Administration from Amity University, Noida. He completed his post-graduation in 2017. Keratoconus – An Eye Disorder
Ankush Bhardwaj was diagnosed with an eye disorder named Keratoconus when he was six years old. Keratoconus is a disorder that leads to sensitivity to light and blurred vision. He consulted a few doctors at Shimla and went for surgery in Chandigarh. After the failed attempt at his surgery at Chandigarh, he consulted Dr. Nitin Bedi, Ojas Eye Hospital, Bandra. Ankush underwent both C3R and Intech surgery at Ojas Hospital. Career
In 2011, he took part in the ‘Voice of Himalayas’ event and was one of the finalists in that. After that, he became the first runner up of ‘Himachal ki Awaaz’ event. He performed in various music festivals in Shimla like Kishore Kumar Nights, Rafi Nights, etc. Ankush has won the singing contest Sangam Sur Sangeet Ka (season 1) in 2013 and this contest was organized by Cedar Productions in Himachal Pradesh. Later, he became one of the top 10 contestants in Benadryl Big Golden Voice (season 4). Amaal Mallik and Armaan Malik praised Ankush in this show. He sang the song ‘Sab Badhiyaa Hai’ for the movie “Sui Dhaaga.” In 2019, he sang the title song, ‘Ek Chup Tum, Ek Chup Main’ for the television show “Isharon Isharon Mein.” This title track is available on SonyLIV streaming platform. After that, he also became the guest of two episodes of Indian Idol Season 11.

In 2018, Ankush Bhardwaj gave auditions for Indian Idol 10. Neha Kakkar, Vishal Dadlani, and Anu Malik were the judges of that season. He contributed his voice to the campaign track of ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ launched by our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
