Film
Vineet Sharma started his film career with the character of Gurdeep Singh in the film Mission Kashmir in 2000. He appeared as Sugratra in the historic drama film Asoka in 2001. In 2003, he played the role of Captain Sachin Annarao Nimbalkar in the war film LOC: Kargil.
He appeared as Sub-Inspector Dev Phadnis in the famous film series Singham (2011) and Singham Returns (2014).
In 2013, he worked in the film Shootout at Wadala as Bhargav Surve. He played the role of a customs officer in the film Judwaa 2 released in 2017. Vineet worked in the Netflix film Mission Majnu as NF Santosh, which was released in 2023. He is known for his work in various Bollywood films like Avgat (2001), Kaal (2005), Dus Kahaniyaan (2007), Mumbai Meri Jaan (2008), Krrish 3 (2013), and 31st October (2015). Vineet also worked in the Marathi film Gulabi, in which he appeared as Ravi Kale in 2014. He worked in many Marathi films like Bhay (2018), Ek Sangaychay (2018), and Ved (2022).

He appeared in another Zee TV serial, Vishwaas, in which he worked in three episodes as Yash Pradhan in 2003. He appeared in some episodes of famous crime TV serials like Crime Patrol (2016) and Savdhaan India (2012). He played the character of Salim in a few episodes of Colors TV’s action thriller series 24: India in 2016.
